St. John’s artist Laurie Leehane studied fine art at St. Lawrence College in Kingston and at York University in Toronto, and commercial art at the College of Trades and Technology. Her cityscapes and landscapes focus on architectural and built structures, and offer a heightened sense of light and colour. Her work is in the collections of the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador and the City of St. John’s, as well as many private collections.
