For 40 years, Scott Goudie has pursued a career as a visual artist primarily focusing on printmaking, drawing and other mediums on paper, specifically chalk pastel and watercolour. This exhibition celebrates 40 years of making and exhibiting art by one of the most celebrated artists of Newfoundland and Labrador. The exhibition Scott Goudie – Celebrating 40 Years will feature work from each decade, spanning the years of 1977 through to 2017 and will present a few key iconic earlier works such as Shadows and Somewhere on the Hawke Hills.

Throughout forty years Goudie has captured the essence of the Newfoundland and Labrador landscape. This exhibition presents an overview of Goudie’s achievements in printmaking and his evocative chalk pastel works on black Arches paper.
